Wambui Gichohi is the group head of human resources at Liberty Group.

Wambui joined Liberty Group after serving at U&I Microfinance Bank, where she spent more than five years in senior HR leadership. 

Earlier in her time at the bank, she served as head of human resources, helping integrate HR strategy into the wider corporate direction while strengthening compliance and performance systems.

Before joining U&I Microfinance Bank, Wambui worked as a human resource business partner at Aurum Consultants.

She previously worked at West Human Resource Centre as a talent acquisition executive, handling recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination and policy implementation for a range of client organisations.
