Wandera Kweyu is the director of people and culture at Jambojet.

Wandera joined Jambojet in 2021 after building an extensive career in human resources, organisational development and people transformation across the aviation, development, humanitarian, media and consulting sectors.

Alongside her corporate leadership role, Wandera is the founder of Conversations With Wandy, a platform that supports people and culture professionals through knowledge sharing, industry discussions and practical human resources. 

Before joining Jambojet, she worked as a people and culture consultant at Tetra Tech Europe, supporting operations across Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia. 

Earlier in her career, she served as head of human resources and administration in the media industry, where she helped reposition the HR function from an administrative support role to a strategic business partner. She also held regional leadership positions with CABI and Médecins Sans Frontières, leading people strategies across several African countries and supporting organisational growth, workforce alignment and performance improvement.

Her career began in legal, human resources and consulting roles, including positions with Achelis Kenya, Arden Africa and Legum Consultants
