Esther Kembabazi Kahumuza is the CHRO at ASA Microfinance Uganda.
Before joining ASA Microfinance Uganda, Esther spent nearly 12 years at Pride Microfinance, where she progressed through several leadership positions. Her final role was people and culture partner.
Prior to that, she served as people and culture partner, business and certified human resource analyst, supporting HR strategy, people analytics and business partnering initiatives.
Esther began her career in human resources at African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET) as a human resources administrative assistant, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records management and staff development. She also briefly served as HR officer welfare at Threeways Shipping Services Group.
